Popcorn, pop, movie, decaf and dessert, and sometimes a second movie! Every second Friday in the Centennial Parlour. A great way to meet new people and make new friends. All are welcome!
October 1 • Bright Star
There’s a secret love affair between poet John Keats and the girl next door, Fanny Browne. While looking after his ill younger brother they start as antagonists but become passionate lovers. A delightful period piece, set in the early 1800s, starring Abby Cornish and Ben Whishaw.
October 15 • Letters to Juliet
While on vacation, an American visitor discovers a long-lost letter to Juliet.
Her attempts to find the lovers in the letter become a wonderful journey of discovery. Starring Amanda Seyfried.
November 12 • The Last Song
Seventeen-year old Veronica Miller is angry and alienated from her parents after their divorce. Her mother sends her to spend the summer with her father. Over the course of this movie, their deep love comes to the surface. Starring Miley Cyrus and Greg Kinnear.
November 26 • Miracle on 34th Street
The classic Christmas story! A nice old man claims to be Santa Claus, bringing together those who believe, want to believe and don’t believe. Starring Maureen O’Hara and John Payne.

Annual Ham and Potato Supper
Saturday, October 23, 5–7 pm
Includes Chuckwagon Beans, beverage and dessert. Adults $10, kids 10 and under $5, family maximum $25. Proceeds support the Wesley-Knox Men’s Club Community Breakfast Program.
Dessert Card Party
Wednesday, October 27, 12:45–3:30 and 6:45–9 pm
Bridge, Euchre, Canasta and more. Scrumptious desserts and great door prizes! Two opportunities to play. $20 per table of four players, reserved tables only. Proceeds to the Wesley-Knox Handbell Choir as it prepares to attend a major handbell festival in Hamilton. Contact Cathie Banks, 519.471.2351, to reserve a table.
